The father of Nuevo Tango, Astor Piazzolla is an Argentinian composer known for his ability to seamlessly weave together the sounds of tango, classical music, and jazz. Perhaps one of his most well-known works, Adiós Nonino, was famously written after the death of his father in 1959. This specific arrangement was created by Brazilian legend Laércio de Freitas.
